The Application Deadline for 2008-09 school year has passed.
If you would like to learn more about our program or wish to submit an application on a standby basis, without the application fee, please call our Admission Office at 301-365-4355 for additional information. |

All
prospective parents are invited to attend one of our two fall
open houses, (dates to be announced). An application for admission
can be found by clicking here.
(The form uses the free Adobe Acrobat reader
format, available here.)
Applications will be accepted through January 15 for the upcoming
academic year. Students applying for Pre-Kindergarten must
be four years old by September 1. Each Pre-Kindergarten and
Kindergarten applicant is invited for an admission visit.
First and Second Grade applicants are administered standardized
tests during their school visit. Each Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten applicant is invited for an admission visit and a separate classroom visit. |

Acceptance is
based upon age, maturity level, performance during the visit,
teacher recommendations, as well as consideration for the
overall composition of the class. As a family
community, Primary Day makes an effort to accomodate those
siblings and legacies who are qualified applicants. Acceptance
is not guaranteed, however, as the number of qualified applicants
may exceed the number of available openings. Parents are
notified of the committee's decision by mid-March.

Scholarship assistance
is available, based on family need.
The Primary Day School reaffirms its policy to admit qualified
applicants to the school and all related programs and activities
on a non-discriminatory basis, without regard to race, color,
religion or national origin.
